On Sept. 1st, 1999 the company Ortwin Rave Produkte + Dienstleistungen (products + services) started its business.
With experience of many years working in refractories, ceramics, and raw materials the company Rave supplies not only raw materials as a normal agent of mineral producers but offers advise for all applications and problems around the use of the supplied materials. Main business is materials like SiC, B4C, Si metallic, fused silica and the products made of Cordierite and Fused Silica.
The company Rave interprets its task as being a kind of mediator between producer and final customer. Out of this independent position the company Rave tries to find the best solution for the final customer and together with the final customer. As a special strength the company can supply rare and seldom found raw materials and special products for special ceramics.
During autumn 1999 a new area of business was opened together with other experienced business partners: Machines and Plants for Crushing, Grinding, Sieving and Classifying of (hard) raw materials, based on used machines which will be completely renewed and remanufactured with up to date technology.
Also since a few years the company Rave represents and sells products for High-Temperature-Generation, High-Temperature-Insulation, and High- Temperature-Control as well as special Kiln Furniture. Additionally means of middle temperature indication can be offered.
All these products lead to the second part of the business of Ortwin Rave - the Services. We understand ourselves as technical adviser for all ceramic problems and are able to help solving these problems with experienced people all around the world. We offer technical consulting for the whole range of ceramic fabrication worldwide and the possibilities for recycling of ceramic wastes.
